Sexuality: Effectively homosexual. He has not been in many relationships, but all of them were with other men. He is attracted to the occasional female, but it's a fairly rare occurance, and he has never acted on anything with a woman. 7. PB: Randy Orton 8. Complete Physical Description: Tall, with brilliant blue eyes and angular features, Keith is a handsome man. However, he doesn't really do anything to play this up. Looks are not the most important thing to him, or even anywhere near the top of the list, though he is always neatly dressed and clean. He takes good care of himself, but more from the standpoint of trying to be healthy than because of any vanity. The first thing that most people notice about him is his height. Standing well over six feet tall, he is one of those men who is just used to automatically ducking every time he goes through a doorway. He can seem overly serious sometimes, since he doesn't normally smile very often. Keith usually looks like he's studying something with intent interest, and the truth is, he usually is. People have accused him of seeming remote, uncaring, or even snobbish because he carries himself apart from other people mostly. This is mostly due to shyness, however, not snobbishness. He tends to have a serious, focused expression. Keith is always clean, especially his hands, which he keeps as close to immaculate as humanly possible. His clothing style is neat, simple, fairly casual, but not particularly trendy. He keeps his brown hair cut short, ease of care being more important to him than fashion. All in all, he has a very tidy, though detached, look about him. 9. Personality: If it were not for medicine and his natural healing magic, chances are that the handsome, motivated pre-med student could have turned out quite differently. Before the manifestation of his powers, he was your typical jock. Involved in every kind of sport his school offered, he was one of the beautiful people, the ones all the nerds wanted to be. Popular, even sort of egotistical in a quiet, low-key sort of way, chances are that he would have stayed that way had everything stayed the same. Nearly everything changed, however, when he discovered science and, more specifically, medicine. By the time he graduated high school, he was top in his class and knew that he was headed to university to take pre-med courses. His personality had done a near complete reversal by the time he was finished high school, and the arrogant jock had become the thoughtful, compassionate man that he is today. Someone who now cares deeply about other people, he is always working, always driven to heal anyone who needs it. Somewhat shy and quiet by nature, he is a very open person when anyone makes an effort to get to know him. It can, however, take quite an effort to do so, as he holds himself reserved from most other people. This is a protection mechanism more than anything else, as he is, in fact, a deeply emotional and loving person. He often thinks about the failed relationship with his family, particularly his older brother, and it bothers him that things got as bad as they did. 10. Background/History: When Keith was born in a small town in upper British Columbia, Canada, his parents were sort of cautiously optimistic. They had one child already, but he was a disappointment to his intellectual parents. Perhaps, in their newest son, they would find the child they had always wanted? Almost from the beginning, though, they were disappointed. Other than his athletic ability, he was a completely ordinary child. Keith was bright enough, he just didn't choose to show it. Like his older brother Justin, Keith would much rather be playing street hockey or setting up a baseball game than doing homework, reading, or going to the library. Keith's parents, despairing, basically gave up on their two sons and allowed them to run wild. Keith and his brother, in a clash of egos, alternated between fighting, ignoring each other, and clinging to each other as the only family they really had. Both sets of grandparents were out of the country, and basically out of the lives of the two young boys. Things might have gone on like this forever, if it weren't for a schoolyard fight. Keith, while somewhat self focused, wasn't a cruel child, and when the twelve-year-old boy saw one of the younger children being bullied by a group of older boys, he acted without really thinking. Stepping between the bullies and the child, he faced the older boys down, protecting the younger child. Though he was outnumbered, he was an incredibly strong, tall young man, and the bullies backed down. It was at this time that his natural magical abilities manifested. He touched the injured child and instantly, the child stopped crying. His wounds healed, and, for Keith, life changed forever. In that split second, the young man changed. It didn't feel like it was enough, just helping one child. So, from that point, it became an overwhelming compulsion with him to become a doctor, since it seemed to him that that was how he could help the most people. Also, he became somewhat obsessed with mastering his strange magical powers. From there on in, he was always busy, and by the time he'd reached his graduating year, he was top in his class. Thoughtful, studious, and with a growing kindness and caring for people, none of his old friends wanted much to do with him anymore. He didn't care. All that mattered was getting into medical school, and continuing to learn about healing magic. He was accepted into universities all over North America, but he found that there was only one that had much in the way of potential education for him about his healing powers. The decision to go to Alden University was the break down point for the relationship between Keith and his older brother. Keith's parents were so proud of their son for going to such a prestigious university. Keith had reappeared on their parent’s radar, and the older son found this a hard pill to swallow. Justin didn't even say goodbye, he was just gone one day. Deep down, Keith could understand how hard it must have been for him, but he also resented his older brother for leaving him so easily. He had always assumed that Justin would be there. In fact, he was completely unable to accept it, so he put off going to university for a couple of years so that he could find his older brother. Ultimately, this proved futile, and he eventually had to admit defeat. After several years, he was finally ready to go off to school. He'd lost his brother, and it was perhaps inevitable that he would grow away from his parents as well at this point. He moved several hundred miles away to go to school in the United States. His parents mourned his leaving, but were still so proud of their boy who had lived up to their hopes and dreams, despite an unpromising start. So, bereft of his family, Keith has arrived at Alden University, ready to learn... 11. Weaknesses: (due to the species, along with personality traits) Keith is a human. Other than his magical abilities, he has all the weaknesses to other species that any human has. He is also somewhat shy, a little quiet and reserved, and has a tendancy to get completely wrapped up in whatever he's doing at any given time. As well, everything around him must be incredibly neat and clean, because Keith is a germaphobe. 12. Strengths: (due to the species, along with personality traits) Keith is incredibly intelligent. He remembers a great deal of the things that he reads, hears, and sees. Physically, he's in good shape, at least for a human, and he takes good care of himself. He has incredible willpower. 13. Talents, Abilities and Hobbies: Keith is a witch, focusing entirely on healing magic. He is still learning, but has the aptitude for it. He loves to read, and he is quite good at many sports, which he plays to keep himself in shape as well as for enjoyment. 14. Likes: Reading, healing, medicine, science, sports 15.
